Doctor of Physical Therapy

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Allen College is a hybrid educational experience designed to develop competent and compassionate physical therapists. This three-year program combines online learning with on-site lab immersions, allowing students to engage in both asynchronous and synchronous learning. The curriculum emphasizes clinical reasoning and application of knowledge through hands-on experiences in a state-of-the-art human donor anatomy lab. Students participate in approximately 90 days of immersion labs and complete four clinical rotations totaling 32 weeks, preparing them for the National Physical Therapy Examination. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and aims to foster lifelong learning and community engagement among its graduates.
