Bachelor of Psychological Science

The Bachelor of Psychological Science at ACAP is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and the psychological processes that influence it. This three-year program, which can be completed full-time or part-time, is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). Students will engage in a blend of theoretical and practical learning, covering essential topics such as foundational psychological processes, cognition, lifespan development, and abnormal psychology. The curriculum includes 13 core units and 11 elective units, allowing students to tailor their studies to their interests in areas like counselling, criminology, and social welfare. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through real-world case studies and project-based assessments, preparing graduates for various careers in psychology and related fields. Graduates may pursue further studies to become registered psychologists or enter diverse roles in mental health, human resources, and community services.
