Doctor of Pharmacy

Creighton University's Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is a comprehensive four-year curriculum designed to prepare students for a career in pharmacy. The program emphasizes patient-centered care, medication therapy management, and the latest developments in pharmacy practice. Students can choose from three pathways: traditional on-campus study in Omaha, a hybrid model in Phoenix, or a fully online distance pathway. The first three years focus on didactic coursework and introductory pharmacy practice experiences, while the final year consists of advanced pharmacy practice experiences across various healthcare settings. Graduates are equipped to work in diverse environments, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices, and are well-prepared for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX).
