Software Engineering for Embedded Systems

The Master of Engineering in Software Engineering for Embedded Systems at RPTU is a part-time postgraduate distance learning program designed for professionals in software development. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in the development, implementation, and evaluation of software for embedded systems. Over four semesters, students engage in a curriculum that covers project management, software engineering principles, quality assurance, and specialized topics such as real-time systems and machine learning. The program includes three on-campus phases to reinforce theoretical knowledge through practical application. With a workload of approximately 14 hours per week, students can balance their studies with professional commitments. The program is offered in English, with the possibility of coursework in German, and is accredited by the Accreditation Council.
