Saint Leo University is proud to introduce its new Doctor of Theology (ThD) online program, focusing on applied theology. This program is designed for individuals already engaged in careers such as ministry, education, and nonprofit leadership, aiming to enhance their skills and knowledge to better serve their communities. The curriculum consists of 60 credit hours, including 14 courses that blend asynchronous learning with live, synchronous sessions. Students will also complete comprehensive exams and a dissertation, typically finishing the program in four years. The program includes two required in-person residencies, fostering community and providing access to university resources. This unique offering is particularly notable as it is the only fully accredited ThD program at a Catholic university, distinguishing it from other programs that are often residential and associated with Protestant institutions.
