Master of Science in Comparative Biomedical Sciences

The University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine has launched a fully online Master’s program in Comparative Biomedical Sciences. This interdisciplinary program is tailored for students aiming for careers in veterinary or human medicine, biomedical engineering, and related fields. It requires the completion of 30 credits, which can be achieved in 1 to 2 years, making it flexible for students, including those taking a gap year. The curriculum covers essential topics such as veterinary and human anatomy, histology, physiology, cell biology, immunology, neuroscience, pharmacology, pathology, and laboratory animal research. This non-thesis program is designed to equip students with a robust foundation for their future professional endeavors, particularly in light of the ongoing pandemic, allowing them to study safely from home.
