Master of Planning

The Master of Planning (MPlan) at the University of Guelph is a course-based program designed for individuals with at least two years of relevant experience in planning and development. This unique program focuses on rural, Indigenous, and remote communities, providing students with the core competencies necessary for effective planning and development. The MPlan can be completed in one year through three full-time semesters, allowing professionals to upgrade their skills without significant time away from work. Students can choose from various delivery options, including in-class, remote online, or a combination of both. The program requires the completion of 4.00 credits, including core courses in Regional Planning and electives from the Rural Planning and Development course list.
